Get to know the Friends Community School. Friends Community School (grades K-8) is a purposeful and joyful school that engages and inspires young children through adolescence. Located on 17 wooded acres adjacent to Greenbelt National Park in College Park, MD, FCS is a vibrant and nurturing community with strong Quaker roots, a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and community, and a progressive approach to education. Friends Community School is also offering a Parenting Education Miniseries, open to the public, this year! FCS is excited to share resources and knowledge with the broader community. We invite you to join us for an upcoming event to learn from members of our faculty and experts in the education field. Register here. All events run from 7:00 – 8:00 PM (check in at 6:30) and are held on campus at FCS.
